Larry "Goose" Curtis Gray Profile Photo Larry Curtis Gray, affectionately known as Goose, was born on July 19, 1944, in the the Leapwood Community of McNairy County, Tennessee. He was the son of the late William (Jack) Curtis and Thankful Elizabeth Treece Gray.

On April 22, 1967, he married Judith Gail Sanders. Together, they cherished 57 wonderful years of marriage, filled with laughter, support, and endless memories.

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army. He devoted 39 years to the McNairy County Farmer’s Co-Op, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. His commitment continued at the Alcorn County Farmer’s Co-Op for another 9 years, serving as the fertilizer manager at both locations. Larry was not just a worker; he was a passionate farmer who raised hogs and cultivated the land.

A man of many interests, Larry found joy in quail hunting and showing quarter horses. He was also a passionate domino player, enjoying the game with family and friends.

Larry departed this life on September 5, 2024, in Adamsville, Tennessee, at the age of 80 years, 1 month, and 17 days. He is survived by his wife, Judith Gray of Selmer, TN; son, Ashley Gray and wife Leslie of Crump, TN; two brothers, Dale Gray and wife Nancy, and Roy Neal Gray and wife Cathy, all of Adamsville, TN; two sisters, Betty Ashe and husband Danny, and Doris Leonard and husband R.B. all of Stantonville, TN; as well as his dear aunt, Joyce Burks of Adamsville, TN, and a multitude of cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gray was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Gray.
