Mr. Larry Cecil Jones, age 67, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at his home in Huron. He was born September 2, 1952 in Madison County to the late Marvin Cecil and Estelle Britt Jones. He was a retired meat cutter at Walmart and enjoyed country music, playing his guitar, taxidermy, wood-working, and cooking. He loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his three sons, Jeff Jones, Jason Jones, and Josh Jones; his daughter, Samantha Jones; his sister, Peggy Garner (Charles); three granddaughters, Laura, Amber, and Chestney Jones; his niece, Lisa Tulley; his nephew, Stephen Garner (Kim); his great nephews, Brett Huss, Brandon Huss, Wesley Pope, and Drew Pope (Angela); 10 great-great nieces/nephews; and numerous cousins. Private, family only graveside services for Mr. Jones will be Tuesday at Old Jacks Creek Cemetery. Because of the Covid-19 concerns, and respecting the 10 or less group size, for the safety of everyone’s family there will be no visitation or services at Pafford Funeral Home.
