Larry Andy Byrd, Sr., 76, died Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Tishomingo Manor, Iuka, MS. He was born in Memphis, TN and was retired as a maintenance mechanic at Carrier Air Conditioning.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS assisted the family.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-one years – Sheree Byrd of Dennis, MS; three children – Larry Byrd, Jr. (Teri) of South Carolina, Stephen Hutchens of Dennis, MS and Tony Hutchens (Lisa) of Arkansas; six grandchildren – Dillyn Hutchens, Sam Byrd, Paige Hutchens, Aaron Hutchens, Abby Hutchens and Paxton Wilbanks; two great-grandchildren and one brother – Charles Byrd of Tupelo, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Lottie Skelton Byrd and eight brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bethany Christian Church Cemetery Fund, 421 Bethany Road, Eads, MS 38028.
