THE SHOALS-The O’Neal Bridge over the Tennessee River will be shifting traffic Tuesday night, June 21, the northbound traffic will shift from the outside lane back to the inside lane.
Seminole Equipment Company will be removing the rails and painting the them. The work of removing rails has already started.
The shift will begin at 11 P.M. and should be completed by 3 A.M. Motorist are urged to use Singing River Bridge until the painting is complete.
State troopers will be on site to assist with traffic control.
No northbound traffic will be allowed across the bridge while the contractor is shifting traffic.
