Land Trust of North Alabama Conserves 10,000 Acres

Recent land donation becomes the Land Trust’s tenth public nature preserve

HUNTSVILLE – Land Trust of North Alabama will officially announce that the organization has conserved over 10,000 acres across the region. A recent and significant land donation from Concord Land Development, Inc. of a 144-acre property in central Huntsville brings the organization to this conservation milestone and becomes the Land Trust’s tenth public nature preserve. The dedication will take place on Monday, May 1 at 10:00AM at the Trailhead Greenway Parking – 1500 Trailhead Main St, Huntsville, AL 35811

The Land Trust will also host a Conservation Celebration for the public on Tuesday, May 2 from 5:30-7:30 PM at the trailhead overlook at Blevins Gap Nature Preserve. More information about the public celebration at landtrustnal.org/event/conservation-celebration-2023.
