Lafayette “Fate” Walker of Lynnville passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Lynnville on September 7, 1937 and was 79 years old. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, retired owner and operator of Fate’s Market in Lynnville, a farmer and loved Tennessee football.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 31st from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday, November 1st at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Burial takes place in Lynnwood Cemetery, Lynnville, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kelsey Walker, parents, Edward Kelsey and Mary Clark Walker, brothers, Eddie Walker and Jack Walker and a sister, Angeline Walker.
He is survived by his, son, Kevin (Meredith) Walker of Lynnville, daughter, Kimberly (Chad) Roder of Lynnville, grandchildren, Brittany, Wade, Carson, John Hayden, Meri Hannah, and Taylor Walker and Ross, Logan and Coleton Roder, sister, Elizabeth Griggs of Michigan, and nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.
