We are sad to announce the passing of Lacy Earl Smith Jr., 64, of Decatur, AL. Lacy passed away on January 10, 2023, at Decatur General Hospital.
Lacy was preceded in death by his Father Lacy E. Smith Sr. and Stepfather Leroy G. Perrard.
Lacy is survived by his Mother Ann S. Perrard and Sisters Annette S. Norris (Randy), and Anita Jo S. Arnett (Jimmy), Nieces and nephews, Rhett Norris (Amber), Robin N. Perez (Joe), Cody Norris (Erika), Anderson Norris, Heather Ralson. His Son Joey Smith, and Daughter Jessica S. Payne (Daniel), and two Grandsons Brandon and Jackson Smith.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Avery, David Hale, Chris Lee, Richard Stover, Joey Smith, Ray Glaze, and Jimmy Arnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Casey, Randy Norris, and Buddy Lee.
Visitation will be Friday at 12 PM at Shelton Funeral Home and the service will be at 1 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
