MORGAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident involving a pedestrain has taken the life of a Laceys Spring man:
“A single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. Saturday, November 8, has claimed the life of a Laceys Spring man.
The pedestrian, Christopher C. Sanders, 43, who was in the roadway at the time of the crash, was fatally injured when he was struck by the 1998 GMC 2500 pickup driven by Mason T. Woodall, 27, of Trinity. Sanders was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Apple Grove Road, approximately one mile northeast of Union Hill, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
