Funeral service for LA Turner, 93, of Baileyton, will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Gum Pond Cemetery. Visitaion will be tonight from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Turner was born on October 25, 1919, in Morgan County to the late Sterling and Mollie Turner. He worked for Tyson Foods. He died on Friday, March 29, 2013, at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his two sons, Jerry Turner and Windell Turner; two daughers, Loyce Dunn and Gaynell Loyd; five granddaughters, Terri Hall, Crystal Jones, Jessica Weaver, LaNae Burchell, and Amber Corley; two grandsons, Darren Turner and Nicholas Turner; two great-grandsons, Matthew Hall and Aiden Jones; two great-granddaughters, Taylor Jones and Maishe’ Hall; and one great-great-granddaughter, Madelyn Hall.
