L.V. Wright, 71, died Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL. He was born March 5, 1952 in Franklin County Alabama to T. V. and Loader Griffus Wright. Mr. Wright worked as a welder for more than 30 years.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Clint Holcombe and Bro. Tim Apt officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Brenda Wright; four children, Eddie Wright (Sandie), Jimmy Wright (Tammy), Conny Perry (Randall Langford) and Dallas Terry (Chelsea); seven grandchildren, Crystal Wright, Jonathan Wright, Trannon Terry, Matty Jo Perry, Caysen Terry, Holden Terry and Breccan Terry; two great-grandchildren; Matthew Collins and Liam Nelson; two sisters, Gail Junior and Faye Pruitt; two brothers, Lloyd Wright (Joan) and David Wright (Christy).
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law; Pete Junior and Eulon Pruitt.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jackie Harrison, Randall Langford, David Pendergraph, Jason Webb and Chris Wright. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jonathan Wright.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 15, from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
