L. D. Daniel, age 78 of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rudy Guess officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Daniel was a native of Cherokee and served in the Army Reserve. He was retired from Reynolds after thirty-nine years of service and was a member of the Fireman and Oilers Local #679. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emray and Lillie Daniel.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Daniel; daughter, Leigh Daniel of Huntsville; son, Larry David Daniel and wife Julie of Tuscumbia; granddaughters, Kelli and Lily Daniel; brother, Howard Daniel and wife Pat of Tuscumbia; and, special friends, Judy and Dean Lesley.
Pallbearers are Brad Black, Monty Merryman, Chris Kimbrough, Alan Lesley, Jace Kimbrough and Brian Holden.
