As the chief assistant district attorney I have obligations to the citizens of this county. I have continued to meet those obligations while also campaigning countywide for circuit judge.
I promise this county and its citizens that if elected, I will work to make our judicial system more efficient and will work to eliminate the backlog of cases that presently exists. I will work to ensure that all who come before me are treated fairly and respectfully, without regard to their gender, race, or social status.
The position of circuit judge carries with it the responsibility to hear and decide civil, criminal, and domestic relations cases based upon the facts and the law. I will uphold the rule of law as your next circuit judge.
I am a family man and am blessed to have raised two children in this county. This experience will help me to properly address the special circumstances that domestic cases require. I care about the citizens of this county and its children.
In my position as chief assistant district attorney I lead monthly meetings with professionals from multiple disciplines including DHR case workers, forensic interviewers from the Cramer Children’s Center, counselors, medical professionals, and law enforcement. These meetings address child abuse and neglect situations in our county. This experience is invaluable in preparing me for the position of circuit judge.
