Kyla Hensley Lewis – Obituary

Funeral for Kyla Hensley Lewis, 92, of Moulton will be today, June 2, 2013, at 4 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Ian Butler officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Rest Haven Cemetery in Harlan, Ky.

Mrs. Lewis, who died Friday, May 31, 2013, at her residence, was born July 1, 1920, in Liggett, Ky., to Starling Hensley and Vinie Hall Hensley. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lewis; one son, Bill David Lewis; one brother; and her grand- daughter, Cheryl Lewis.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Lewis of Pennsylvania and Tommy Lewis of Decatur; two daughters, Starlet Lewis Jones and Carl of Moulton and Sandy Lewis Beltran and Joe of Decatur; five grandchildren, Greg Jones and Kelly, Bryan Beltran, Paulett Keenum and Chuck, Cindy Sneath and Tanja Miller and Wayne; four great-grandchildren, Josh Jones and Kim, Tyler Keenum, Adam Keenum and Kaydee Jones; and three great-great- grandchildren, Jake Jones, Eric Keenum and Cambri Keenum.

A special thanks to our niece, Jenny Rhymer, for all the help and love, and to the nurses at Lawrence Medical Center, and to Dr. Charles Coffee.
