Kristy Thomas passed away on September the 13th 2024, at the age of 46 in Watertown, TN. The family will be receiving friends and family at Sellers Funeral Home in Lebanon TN, Friday September 20th from 4-8pm.
Kristy Nicole Thomas was born in Donelson TN to Kathy Yvonne Masters (Thomas) and Rodney Dale Thomas. Kristy was a one-of-a-kind person, with an outgoing personality. She never met a stranger. She had a great sense of humor and had a way about her that brought out people’s most authentic selves. She always went out of her way to be a good friend. Even through her own trials and tribulations, she checked in on friends and loved ones to make sure they were doing okay. She cared deeply about the people she loved.
Kristy grew up in Lebanon, TN and attended Lebanon High School. Kristy enjoyed working with the public and meeting new people. She worked as a caregiver at Brightington Gardens for many years. She also was a foster parent for many years and loved helping people.
Kristy enjoyed curling up with a good book on the porch during a storm. She loved peach slushies from Sonic, taking staycations with her boys, going on night fishing trips, and loved being outside. More than anything Kristy loved being with her two sons. She was an excellent mother. Her boys were the pride of her life.
Family and friends will remember Kristy as very smart, personable, and hilarious. Most importantly she will be remembered as a great mother, a caring aunt, wonderful big sister, beloved daughter, and great friend. She left a lasting impression on so many and will be forever cherished in our memories.
Kristy is survived by her two sons Kobe and Knox, her mother Kathy Thomas, her sister Katie Thomas, and her nieces Khloe and Karleigh Wauford. She is preceded in death by her father Rodney Dale Thomas, her uncle William Charles Thomas, and her grandparents Dillion and Beatrice Thomas and Fred and Georgia Masters, and her beloved dog Sookie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made payable to her sister Katie Thomas which will be put into a trust fund for Kobe and Knox.
