Kristi Leigh Taylor age 47, passed away May 22, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born June 10, 1974 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of Jimmy and Phyllis Rowland Donaldson. She grew up in Henderson and was a 1992 graduate of Chester County High School. She married Heath Taylor on June 26, 1993. They made their home in Henderson.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved watching her daughter Kaitlynn play softball. She loved her dogs, Bonnie, Tigger, Star, Clyde and Ellie Jo. She enjoyed shopping and going to the mountains.
She loved to sing and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.
Kristi is survived by her husband, Heath Taylor of Henderson; her parents, Jimmy and Phyllis Rowland Donaldson of Henderson; a daughter, Kaitlynn Young (William) of Henderson; a brother, Jimmy Donaldson (Trisha West) of Henderson; a sister, Jamie King (Ethan) of Selmer; a grandchild on the way and her mother-in-law, Jane Taylor of Adamsville, TN.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 25th at Palestine Baptist Church with Bro. Anthony Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and beginning at 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Church.
