Kimberly Lynn Hodges, 55, of Grant/Huntsville, AL claimed victory over her disease on January 6, 2023 as she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Huntsville Hospital Women’s and Childrens Adult ICU. Kim was born October 16, 1967 to James and Betty Hodges in Huntsville, Al. She was a treasured employee of the Tennessee Valley Pain Clinic and loved assisting all of her patients. She transferred there after being the supervisor of housekeeping at the Madison Hospital location. Anyone that knew her, knows how much she loved helping and being there for others. She truly was a gift to all that knew her. Her work ethic, loyalty, love, and compassion was second to none.
Kim is preceded in death by her father, James “Buddy” Hodges. She is survived by her son James Pellem (Lauren), her mother Betty Hodges, two brothers Mike Hodges (Stephanie) and Timmy Hodges (Victoria), one sister Tracy Patrick (Dusty), two grandchildren Taylor and Kade Pellem, and a plethora of nieces, nephews, and other close family members. We would also like to recognize her boyfriend for many years Jerry Haney and his two children, who she loved and treated as her own. One son Matt Haney (Auburn), one daughter Sabrina Songalewski, and one grandson who she loved dearly, Grant Haney. Thank you all for loving her.
Please join the family in celebrating Kim’s life on January 9, 2023 with her viewing beginning at 2pm at Berryhill Funeral home, followed by a service at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to the family to make a donation to the Fusion 07 softball team, of which she was their biggest fan.
We love her and we miss her, but with God’s promise we will be reunited in paradise.
