Funeral Services for Ms. Kimberly Dawn Sims, age 42 of Lineville, will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Michael Waldrep and Rev. Kevin Acre officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Methodist Church Cemetery in Wedowee.
Ms. Sims passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. She was born in Georgia and spent most of her life in East Alabama. She was sassy, strong willed, and loved her family. Ms. Sims adored her daughter and the time she spent with her mother over the past few years.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Ricky Brown in Roanoke; her daughter, Bailey Reves of Lineville; her mother, Joyce Edmondson (Barry Mitchell) of Wedowee; two brothers: Larry Knight (Ann) of Wedowee and Keith Holloway (Brandi) of Lineville plus several nieces, nephews and a huge extended family.
She is preceded in death by her father, James L. Knight, and one brother, Coley Edmondson.
Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Her visitation will take place on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and on Monday, December 13, 2021 until service time at 1:00 PM.
