Kim Pressnell Kimberly Ann Pressnell, 56 of Athens, Alabama, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023, at her residence. Ms. Pressnell was born October 5, 1967, in Morgan County to Bonnie B. and Beverly Sutton of Athens. She worked for the U. S. Bankruptcy Court in Decatur, Alabama, for over 25 years and was a member of Round Island Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Barry K. Pressnell; her son, Blake (Malia) Montgomery; her daughter, Bailee Pressnell; and three grandchildren, Asher Montgomery, Olivia Baugh and Cobey Montgomery; sisters, Bonnie Jean (Benjy) Taylor and Judy (Paul) Robertson; mother-in-law, Frances Pressnell; brother- and sister-in-law, Bradley and Karen Griggs; several nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Watts, her parents, Bonnie and Beverly Sutton, and her father-in-law, Kenneth Pressnell.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2nd, 2023 from 5:00-8:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with the funeral at the Chapel on Wednesday, January 3rd at 11:00am. Officiating will be Benjy Taylor, Lance Taylor, Daniel Tucker, Bradley Griggs and Mike Green. Pallbearers will be Blake Montgomery, Benjy Taylor, Paul Robertson, Lance Taylor, Daniel Tucker, Chad Smith, Keeton Griggs, David Ballinger, and Blake Ledlow. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-nephews. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
