Killen Man Arrested On Drug Charges For Hiding Meth In Hamburger

LAUDERDALE COUNTY-The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of a man who has been charged with several traffic charge and a Possession of a Controlled Substance charge:

Timothy Don Nolen

“On 7/22/23 Lauderdale County Deputies Tyler Declue and Cpl. Josia Tukua conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 157 just north of Underwood. It was determined that the driver, Timothy Nolen, had a revoked license.
The vehicle was to be impounded per policy. During the inventory of the vehicle, Nolen made several references to being hungry and just wanting to eat his hamburger.
Unfortunately, the burger contained more than lettuce and pickles. Deputies retrieved a small bag of Methamphetamine.
Timothy Don Nolen, 45, Killen was arrested and charged with:
Unlawful Possession Controlled Substance
Driving while Revoked
Switched Tag
**All suspects are innocent until proven guilty**”
