kaylaA Celebration of Life for Miss. Khalika Diana Bankhead, 32, of Hillsboro will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home with Bishop R.M. Johnson officiating and inhumation to follow in Sterrs Cemetery.
Life for Khalika, the daughter of Donald Ray Madden and Linda Bankhead began Christmas morning, December 25, 1982, in Lawrence County. God called his Angel home to be with him on March 7, 2015.
Khalika attended Ebenezer Christian Church under the leader of Bishop R.M. Johnson, where she loved worshipping. She was a graduate of Lawrence County High School. Khalika was a very special young lady who loved to be around people and loved making them laugh. She never met a stranger and was a very kind-hearted person. She will truly be missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted mother and father, Linda Bankhead and Donald Ray Madden, both of Hillsboro; four sisters, Chaletha Bankhead and Kristy Bankhead, both of Hillsboro, Shontay Franklin and Latasha Franklin, both of Decatur; one brother, Marcus Robinson of Courtland; five nieces, Shukirah and Kyra (Kristy), Zaniya and Londen (Shontay), Ciara (Latasha); one nephew, Montreal (Shontay); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
