Kevin O’Brian Patrick was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 16, 1950 to the late Gloria Yvonne Mae De Clozet and Ellis Raymond Patrick. Kevin transformed from this life to the next from his Tupelo residence on Friday, November 2, 2023. He was 73. Kevin grew up in the Grand Rapids area, graduated from Grandville High School in 1969 and later graduated from Kendal School of Design in Grand Rapids. He spent his life in design and, at the time of his death, was the owner of Fine Line Designs, a freelance furniture design business. Kevin had clients all over the USA and internationally. He developed a splendid reputation over the years for his innovative furniture designs and was known as one of the best in the industry. He led a life of adventure and purpose through his work, his family and his church, Wesley United Methodist Church, where he was an active Christian. At Wesley, Kevin did everything from volunteering with cooking men’s breakfast on Sunday mornings, artwork for different events, to ushering and singing in the choir. He always made time for his children and their sporting activities, soccer and baseball. An avid and versatile cook, Kevin enjoyed music of all genres and was a part of a celebrated band in Michigan known as the Patricians, where he was drummer. He loved his pets dearly especially his late dog, Baxter, and was always ready to “eat out.” He was an avid Ole Miss Rebel fan (Hotty Toddy!) and always held season tickets to cheer the Rebels in football.
