Kevin Lee “Chop” Hamm

Kevin Lee “Chop” Hamm, 48, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at NMMC in Hamilton, AL.  He was born in Red Bay, AL to Danny Lee and Peggy Joyce Thomas Hamm.  He was a truck driver and attended Grace Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 20, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Wayne Bumgart and Bro. Chris Brannon officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his father-Danny Hamm (Nancy); sisters and brothers-Rita Brannon (Keith), Jennifer Jackson (Lowell), Tamra Dill, Andrew Mullins (Debbie), Katie Gronniger, Chris Gronniger (Molly), Amy Francis (Jason) and Jeffery Dick; special nieces-Tesia Dill, Gracie and Autumn Jackson and Kennedy Thornton; a host of other nieces and nephews ; special friend-Miranda Benton and step-son-Koty Mills.

He was preceded in death by his mother; brother-Jeff Dill; nephew-Jeffery Dill and his grandparents-Mack and Marvaline Hamm and J.V. and Gladys Brewer.

Visitation will be Monday, April 19, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
