Kevin Joe Garrison, 58 of Arab passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at UAB Hospital. Kevin was born September 12, 1964 in Arab the son of Billy Joe Garrison and Dyan Deerman Garrison. He was a graduate of Arab High School Class of 1982, honorably discharged from the Army National Guard, retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation and a member of the Arab Wesleyan Church. He was an avid outdoors man, enjoying hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved his family dearly, especially the grand kids.
He is survived by his parents: Dyan Garrison and Billy and Elain Garrison; wife: Candace Garrison; daughters: Janessa Price (Scottie) and Jo Anna Green; grandchildren: Billy Green, Aiden Green, KJ Price and Paisley Price; sister: Karin Hardin (Michael), step sister: Hallie Shaw; aunts: Martha Dickie and Susan Berry; nieces and nephew: Briahana Westbrook (Nic), Ryleigh Hardin and Bradley Cox (Anna); He was preceded by granddaughters: Taigen Black and Emma Price; grandparents: Max and Eunice Garrison, Elbert and Mildred Deerman.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Nicky James officiating. The burial will be in Brashier’s Chapel Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Brant Berry, Michael Hardin, Bradley Cox, Nic Westbrook, Scottie Price and Matt Elliott. Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Green, Aiden Green and KJ Price.
