Kevin Dwayne Shadowens, age 52 of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 2:00PM on Sunday, February 13th, with Bro. David Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 12th from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Sunday from 12:00PM until the hour of service at 2:00PM.
Kevin was born on August 19, 1969 in Nashville, Tennessee to Larry & Sandra Shadowens. He has worked for A.O. Smith as an IT Specialist for over 30 years. He was an avid Alabama football fan and loved Garth Brooks music. He also enjoyed baseball and coached many young players in the Pleasant View Dixie Youth Program, including his son. Kevin loved his family and was a member of Joelton First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Gina Shadowens; son, Mason Shadowens; daughter, Katie Shadowens (fianceꞌ Nick Moon); grandson, Mitchell Grief; parents-in-law, Mike & Reba Poole; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Jacob & Candi Schutt, Josh & Paige Poole, and Tim & Colleen Caldera; cousins, Timothy & Desiree Caldera; niece, Lilly Poole; and nephews, Alex & Nate Schutt and Camden Poole.
