Kevin Dwayne HyattKevin Dwayne Hyatt of Trinity, Alabama was called to his Heavenly home on Wednesday morning, September 6, 2023 while in the comfort of his home. Kevin was born on November 28, 1960 in Cullman, Alabama to Peggy Parris Hyatt and the late Carolton Hyatt. He was the oldest of 3 sons. He graduated from Meek High School with the class of 1979.

Kevin married Faith Ann (Traylor) Hyatt on September 4, 1982 in Arley, Alabama. To this union, two children were born, Ali Hyatt Huffman and Melanie Hyatt Coleman.

Kevin started his banking software career at National Bank of Commerce in Birmingham, Alabama in 1982. In 1992, our lives were changed for the better when Kevin took a leap of faith and took a chance on a small startup software company in Monett, Missouri. That company was Jack Henry. He started work at Jack Henry when there were close to 100 associates in 1 office. Now, after 31 years, Kevin was set to retire this month from Jack Henry on September 30th with the company having grown to over 7,000 associates and 40 offices across the country. To Kevin, working at Jack Henry was more than just a career, it was a life. He and his family formed friendships that will last a lifetime through this now S&P 500 company.

Kevin was a member of Westmeade Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama. While living in Missouri, Kevin and his family were among the founding members of Monett Community Church, where many friends became family.

Left to mourn in his passing are his wife of 41 years, Faith; daughters Ali (J.B.) Huffman, Melanie (Paul) Coleman; and his beloved dog Stormie.

He was the best Popper to his grandchildren Journey Huffman, Callahan Huffman, Hyatt Coleman and David Coleman.

He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Hyatt; brothers Keith (Nancy) Hyatt, and Ken (Judy) Hyatt; his mother-in-law Betty McWhorter; brother-in-law Tommy (Sarah) Traylor, sister-in-law Jane Bowlin and a host of several nieces and nephews.
