Kerry McGrady, of Athens, passed away on June 26, 2018 in Decatur.
A visitation is planned for Friday, June 29, 2018from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a service to follow at First United Methodist Church in Athens. Kenny Baskins and David Varner will officiate. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is directing.
Mr. McGrady was born on October 10, 1957 to Don and Gail Taunton McGrady in Anniston, AL. He attended Huntsville High School and Auburn University. He was employed by ACE Industries, Inc. as an Operational Sales Manager. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Athens.
Mr. McGrady is survived by his parents, Don and Gail McGrady; sons, Matthew Anderson (Lindsey)of Lake Forest, IL, John Thomas McGrady (Mary) of Nashville, TN, Pierce McGrady of Ardmore, AL and Bram McGrady of Auburn, AL. One daughter, Marta Alonzo of Athens, AL; four grandchildren, Javier Alonzo, Alma Miranda, Evan Miranda and Garner McGrady; one brother, Kim McGrady (Leigh Anne); one nephew, Colton McGrady; one niece, Kaleigh McGrady. He is also survived by his loving companion, Julie Faulkner and her daughter, Lauren Faulkner.
Pallbearers will be Randy Lawson, Patrick Anderson, Dean Firestone, Steve McBay, Joel Chisholm, Donny Summers, Cade Anderson and Todd Lawson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Eskind Diabetic Clinic at Vanderbilt or the Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
