Kermit D. “Red” Tutor, 86, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, at his home in Pontotoc. Also known as Mudball on the CB radio, he enjoyed over 70 years of trucking and hauling sand and gravel, for the public, while meeting new people. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Ann Tutor; 2 sons, Wayne Tutor (Cheryl) and Allen “Bubba” Tutor (Terri); stepdaughters, Regina Rollins (Randy) and Becky Smith (Roger); his grandchildren, Cheri Hight (Jared), Miranda Miller (Matt), Valire Tutor, Sam Tutor, Carly Smith, and Brooke Smith (Ricky); several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donnie Tutor.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe Tutor; and his sister, Mary Dillard.
Services will be Monday, December 11, 2023, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Neil Perry officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 10th 5-8PM and Monday, 1PM until service time. Burial will follow in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Smith, Randy Stewart, Danny Thompson, Larry Self, Mike Montgomery, and Sam Tutor.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy, Ricky, and Braden.
