Kent David Trovillion age 57, of Hendersonville passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Kent was born on June 13, 1967 in Metropolis, Illinois to Kenneth Trovillion and Lois Marlman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Trovillion.
Kent is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ann Trovillion; daughter, Kayla Trovillion; mother, Lois Marlman; brother, Kevin Trovillion; aunt, Joyce (Ronnie) Taylor; fur babies, Hazel and Frankie.
Kent Trovillion was born in Metropolis, Illinois and lived a life devoted to serving others. Kent started volunteering with the West Frankfort Fire Department while in high school and in 1985 he began full time emergency service. Kent was a Paramedic, then promoted to District Chief, and served the Nashville Fire Department for 30 years. Always willing to lend a hand, a wrench, or give IT support. Above all else, he was a husband to Ann for almost 30 years and a father to Kayla. Someone who loved his people, but always had a special spot in his heart for his fur babies, Hazel and Frankie.
There will be a visitation with the family on Sunday, August 11th at Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville from 4:00-8:00 PM. The family will have a private funeral service and interment with Scotty O’Brien, Shane Stanley, Frank Gonzalez, Jimmy Anderson, Hal Bowden and Barry McCullough serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Gilmer and Carl Booker.
