Kennith Marlin “Sam” Ward, 45 of Baileyton passed away Tuesday April 1, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Sam was born February 27, 1980, in Madison, the son of Kenny Wayne Ward and Debrah Ann Gipson. He had a love of music, especially playing the guitar and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife: Christy Ward; children: Bella Ward and Bethany Hatfield (Omar Touzani); grandchild: Jasper Issac Henderson; uncle: Phillip Ward (Crystal); sisters: Karon Blakely (Buddy) and Chasity Carnley (Bill); brothers: Shane Ward (Kim) and Shaun Ward (Rachel); host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Deborah Gipson and Kenny Ward; brother: Calvin Welsey Ward; stepmother: Wanda Gaines; grandmothers: Phyllis Marie Hendrix and Helen Burkett; cousin: Taneka Johnson.
