Kenneth Weeks, 83, of Phil Campbell, passed away on August 4, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on March 1, 1941 to Early and Maggie Weeks in Franklin County, Alabama. Kenneth worked for many years buying lumber. He attended Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church all of his life and was a deacon for 51 years. His happiest times were in a good spirit-filled service.

Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by his parents, Early and Maggie Weeks. Mr. Weeks is survived by his loving and devoted wife of almost 65 years, Mary Sue Weeks; one son, Norris (Latrina) Weeks; one daughter, Cosundra (Tom) Richardson; four grandchildren, Eric Weeks, Ryan Weeks, Kevin Richardson and Trent Richardson; five great-grandchildren, Carly, Tyler, Colton Weeks; and Slade and Rhealin Richardson; several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday August 6, 2024, at Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church, Phil Campbell, Alabama from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. with the service at 2 p.m. The burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Bro. Darryl Rambo, Dewayne Woodall and Todd Carter will be officiating the service. Pallbearers will be Eric Weeks, Kevin Richardson, Ryan Weeks, Trent Richardson, Brad Trapp and Kendall Trapp. Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Weeks, Colton Weeks, Slade RIchardson, Carly Weeks, and Rhealin RIchardson. Special acknowledgement and thanks to the Hospice of North Alabama, Kendra England, Jenny Reed, Brittni Moody, Tiona Estavan, CenterWell Home Health, and Heather Hoffmann.
