Funeral service for Kenneth Wayne Lyle, 79, will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. George Allison officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Lyle died on Monday, May 13, 2013 at UAB’s Pallative Care Unit. He was born April 29, 1934, to Harry Montgomery Lyle and Ethel (Tanner) Lyle. Mr. Lyle was a graduate of Morgan County High School, Alabama Polytechnic Institute, and of the Jefferson Davis- Birmingham School of Law. He also attended Marion Military Institute for 2 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Lyle enjoyed gardening and Auburn Football.
Survivors include : his Wife, Colleen Lyle, Birmingham, AL
Two Daughters: Susan Allison (John), Alabaster, AL and Donna Miller (Buzz), Alexander City, AL
Five Grandchildren: Brandon Allison (Heather), Kenneth Blake Allison, Bennett Allison, Addison Miller and Harry Miller
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Wheeler Barber and Chris Thorton.
