Kenneth Wayne Kirkpatrick, aged 73, from Ripley, moved to his heavenly home on Friday, October 18th, 2024, at Signature Health Care of Ridgley. He dedicated 43 years of his life as a Parts and Shop Manager for Tennessee Tractor where he answered many after-hours calls from local farmers and earned the title of Master Service Manager from the University of John Deere. Kenny was a Vietnam War Army Veteran. As a long-standing Whitefield Assembly of God Church member, he served as a Deacon and Royal Ranger leader.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Glenda Goff Kirkpatrick, and his daughter, Lori Kirkpatrick Finney (Jeff) of Gallatin. He was a father figure to his surviving brothers, Donnie Kirkpatrick (Belinda) of Ripley and Mike Kirkpatrick (Shelia) of Brownsville. He is also survived by his sisters Nancy Anglin of Southaven, MS, Paula Moore of Ripley, who was his caregiver, Carolyn Gaters (Raymond) of Ripley, a brother, Billy Joe Kirkpatrick (Christie) of Lewisburg, and his beloved boxer, Buck. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Ervin Kirkpatrick and Eleanor Gaines Kirkpatrick, a sister, Judy Kirkpatrick, and a brother, Tommy Kirkpatrick. He was a grandfather figure to four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5 until 8 PM at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Visitation will also be 11 AM Monday with funeral services to follow at 1 PM Monday at Whitefield Assembly of God. Interment with military honors will follow in Ripley Memorial Gardens.
