Funeral service for Kenneth Wayne Johnson age 74 of Somerville will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Valhermoso Baptist Church with Rev. Craye Hall officiating with burial in the Burningtree Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. His body will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at the Church. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson, who died on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his residence, was born April 21, 1941 in Decatur, Alabama to Lester Lee Johnson and Mary Christine Moore Johnson.
He is survived by his wife; Margie Johnson, a son; Timothy Johnson of Danville, three daughters; Tammy Widner of Falkville, Tara Baldwin of Madison and Samatha Howington of Georgia, one brother; Harold Johnson of Hartselle and a sister; Brenda Alvis of Hartselle. 5 Grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren
Tim Johnson, Anthony Widner, Will Johnson, Justin Watson, Harold Johnson and Stephen Johnson will serve as pallbearers.
