Kenneth Vincent of Bolivar – Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Vincent of Bolivar departed this life Tuesday evening, November 6, 2012 at the age of 78 years and two days.

A lifelong resident of Bolivar, he was born November 4, 1934 to the late John I. Vincent, Sr. and Lois Elizabeth Long Vincent. He worked for Motor Parts and Bearing and later owned and operated Service Auto Parts in Bolivar for 25 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar and enjoyed duck hunting and fishing.

He is survived by a son, William Keith Vincent of Bolivar; two sisters, Frieda Waller of Bolivar and Emily Hinson of Jackson; five brothers, John I. Vincent, Jr. of Bolivar, Joseph H. Vincent of Bolivar, Raymond Curtis Vincent of Arlington, Richard A. Vincent of Memphis, and Ullis “Butch” Vincent of Collierville; a stepbrother, William Harris of Germantown; two adopted grandchildren, Cindy and Allie; and two sisters-in-law, Vanissa Holmberg and Debbie Ubelhor.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lynn Vincent; three brothers, Wilbert B. Vincent, Calvin O’Neal Vincent, and Cecil Wayne Vincent; and his stepmother, Cornelia Harris Vincent.
