Kenneth (Texx) Thompson Kenneth (Texx) Thompson was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 19, 1961 the son of Margaret Ann Scott Thompson and the late James Elbert Thompson.

On October 16, 1993 he was united in marriage to Sandra Joyce Vickery, who survives.

Kenneth or “Texx” as he was known by all his friends, worked for 25 years in law enforcement. He started his career working at the Wayne County Boot Camp and then went from there to the Wayne County Sheriffs Department, Savannah Police Department, Henderson County Sheriffs Department as an investigator, City of Crump, Tennessee and then making his home back at the Wayne County Courthouse. Before working in law enforcement he worked for several years at Nesco in Corinth, Mississippi. In his spare time he loved riding his Harley, shooting his guns and collecting comic books. Kenneth was a member of Clifton Baptist Church in Clifton, Tennessee.

In addition to his wife of 25 years, Sandra of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by two sons, Kevin Todd Thompson and his wife Amanda and Scott Tyler-Jones Thompson, all of Adamsville, Tennessee; his mother, Margaret Thompson of Waynesboro, Tennessee; sister, Jo Ann Throgmorton and her husband David of Waynesboro, Tennessee; brothers, James Lynn Thompson and his wife Deborah of Columbia, Tennessee, Waymond Thompson and his wife Rita of Savannah, Tennessee, Robert Thompson and his wife Sandy of Savannah, Tennessee and Blake Thompson and his wife Miranda of Columbia, Tennessee.
