Kenneth Ray Moses – Obituary

Memorial service for Kenneth Ray Moses, 79, will be Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Dudley Brock officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Moses passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, surrounded by the love of his family at his residence. He was born Sept. 10, 1936, in Morgan County to Roy Moses and Kathleen Roan Moses. Mr. Moses worked for Fruehauf-Nichols Aluminum where he had worked as a maintenance foreman until he retired in 2001. He was a general handyman and an avid outdoorsman. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sophie Gonzales Moses; three sons, Gary Ray Moses (Penny), Wetumpka, Kenneth Don Moses, Hartselle and Scott Moses (Maggie), Florence; three daughters, Debra Kay Berry (Keith), Kathy Ann Austin (Benny) and Leslie Sue Wynn (Richard), all of Hartselle; two brothers, Joseph Moses (Betty), Cottondale and Jerry Moses (Glenda), Cullman; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers are accepted but memorials can be made to the “Hospice of Cullman County,” which the family wishes thank so much for their compassionate care.
