Kenneth Ray Garrison, 69, resident of Myrtle, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2024, surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Flatrock Baptist Church with Bro. John Mark Jarred officiating. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of service. A private family burial will be at a later date.
Kenny was the son of the late Kenard and Oretha Lawerance Garrison and lived most of his life in Union County. He was married to his devoted and loving wife, Deborah for 40 years.
A member of Flat Rock Baptist Church, Kenny was a simple God loving man. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Deborah, two sons, Dennis Garrison and Stephen Hancock, two daughters, Holly Hancock and Kimberly Wilson (Wilbert), all of New Albany, two brothers, George and Eddie Garrison of AR, six sisters, Bonnie Pulley of TX, Shirley Carter of TN, Barbara Womble (Glen), Virginia Lovens, Helen Hancock, Peggy Hayes all of AR, seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, his Sunday school class and two brothers in Christ, Leon Enzer and Steve Denton. He was survived by three brothers and two sisters.
