Funeral for Kenneth R. Ault, 85, from Town Creek, will be Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Wakefield and Reverend Bertis Ray officiating.
Burial will be at Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 at Elliott Funeral Home.
Mr. Ault, who died Tuesday, Nov.6, 2012, was born July 2, 1927, in Knoxville, Tenn. to Henry Ault and Ruth Hill Ault. Mr. Ault served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years. He was a member of Labor Local 366 and employed at Reynolds Metals for 30 years. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church where he served as a deacon until his death. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Campbell Ault; his parents; and two brothers, William Ault and Charles Ault.
He is survived by Uncle, Charlie Ault, of Knoxville, Tenn.; brothers-in-law, John Campbell (Joyce) and Ray Campbell, all of Town Creek, and Eugene Patterson, of Decatur; sisters-in-law, Joyce Campbell Moore (Gary), of Montgomery, Marcilla Campbell Weems (Don), of Decatur, Patsy Campbell, of Town Creek, Dot Ault and Billie Perkins, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roger Parker, Larry Patterson, Jeffrey Campbell, Jordan Sprinkle, Doug Shumake and Julian Bell.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Providence Baptist Church and former pastor Reverend Milton Burks.
