Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Yvonne Blackburn; daughter, Kristy Lee Blackburn; mother, Jean Blackburn, of Dyersburg, Tenn.; mother-in-law, Ruth Moore; brothers, Lee R. Blackburn Jr. (Patricia) and David Blackburn (Jane); sisters, Patsy Wright (Dale), Vickie Grigsby, Cathy Tetreault, Ginny Parker (Olen) and Sandy Cross (Tom); several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lee R. Blackburn Sr., and brother, Jimmy Blackburn.
Kenny was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to countless others. He was a very special man, loved by all who knew him. Kenny will be missed by everyone who knew him, but never forgotten.
He was a veteran of the 883rd Airborne U.S. Army Reserves Paratrooper Division. He was a former carpet contractor until his illness, a gun enthusiast and antique car collector. He was of the Baptist faith.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Jimmy Beaver, Russ Grigsby, Justin Liles, Tom Cross, Will Cross and Ben Cross.
