Kenneth Lee Hodges Hand, age 65, of Coopertown, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at The Waters of Robertson in Springfield. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 3pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Jim Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sharon Cemetery with Mark Hand, Jr., Bobby Hand, Jr., Brad Oplinger, Nick Oplinger, Jon Pokorny, and Les Hand serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10am until the hour of service at 3pm.
Mr. Hand was born April 23, 1956 in Springfield to the late J.C. and Lucille Hodges Hand.
In addition to his parents Mr. Hand is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Dean Hand. He is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby Hand, Sr. and Mark and Julie Hand, Sr.; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Brad Oplinger; and several loving nieces and nephews.
