Despite being born with cerebral palsy, Kenny navigated life with a spirited determination. Crawling was his means of getting around and BB had no problem getting around.  Known for his bossy yet endearing nature, Kenny had a unique way of making his presence known. His family understood the special sounds he made, which was his way of communicating with those he loved.

Kenny had a zest for life that was contagious. He adored women and especially loved going on car rides with his mama, often expressing, “Kenny liked being on the go.” An agitator at heart, his playful mischief brought smiles to everyone around him. His trust in Channel 19’s weather coverage and Dan Satterfield was unwavering for many years.

Though he disliked bad weather, Kenny found joy in many simple pleasures. He set his daddy’s alarm clock every day to ensure he got to work on time. Television brought him great comfort and laughter, with favorites like “Sanford and Son,” “The Beverly Hillbillies,” and “Walker, Texas Ranger” being his go-to shows.

Kenny was known for his affectionate nature, blowing kisses to everyone he met. However, if you saw a fist, it was his unique way of giving a thumbs down, signaling his displeasure.

Kenny’s life, though marked by challenges, was filled with love, laughter, and a spirit that brightened the lives of all who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margie Morton and his nana, Christine Burson.
