Kenneth “Ken” Vincent Geske,65, of Toney,AL died Friday, January 24, 2020 at his home.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 176 for 44 years. where he held many positions and was once the Commander at the Post. Ken was also a member of The Order of The Moose Lodge 48 in Huntsville, AL. After the Army he joined the National Guards then went into the Reserves. Ken worked at Engelhard-BASF for 40 years in quality control manger. He was a perfectionist living by the motto “All the I’s have to be dotted and all the T’s have to be crossed”.

Born Sunday, February 21, 1954 in Barnesville, GA, he was the son of Vincent Paul Geske and Loretta Blanch Seaman Geske.

He was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law, Flenoy and Helen Ables.

Ken is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ables Geske; son, Kenneth Scott “Booger” Geske; daughters, Deborah (Shelby) Watson, Lily Geske, and Loretta Geske; grandson, Dekoda Watson; granddaughter, Kelsea Watson; brothers, Glenn Geske and Frank Geske; and his uncle and aunt , Robert and Marilyn Morgan of Florida.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Randy Watts officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Watson, Scott Vining, Randy Watkins, Mike Mason, Barry Teichmiller, and Dustin Della-Calce. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Skiles, Hervey Moran, Mark Southerland, Richard Carpenter, and Jimmey Hall. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
