Kenneth J. Salvack – Obituary

Joseph-Salvack-1428242242Kenneth J. Salvack of Stantonville, TN was born March 27, 1943 in Thorp, WI the son of the late Peter F. and Bernice Milewski Salvack. Mr. Salvack departed this life on April 2, 2015 at his home at the age of 72 Years, 6 Days.

He was united in marriage to Theresa M. Wilczek on July 29, 1967.

Mr. Salvack lived in Wisconsin prior to retiring and moving to Stantonville in 2003. In Wisconsin, he owned and operated Jackson Concrete and Hartford Redi Mix. After selling his concrete businesses, he was a forklift driver at Charter Steel Mill in Saukville, WI retiring in 2003.

Mr. Salvack and his wife Theresa passed through McNairy County and the Stantonville area a few years prior to retiring and immediately fell in love with it. Mrs. Salvack said he commented that they needed to move here when they retired. They did and he loved every minute of it. They attended St. Jude Catholic Church in Selmer, TN. He was a member of the Stantonville Ruritan Club and took great pride in the Veteran’s Memorial that was erected. He regularly collected the money at the Stantonville monthly fish fry and enjoyed joking with the people. He enjoyed his new dog Duke, feeding the catfish, deer, and birds. He liked digging in the dirt with his backhoe and made his two acre pond.

He is survived by his wife Theresa M. Salvack of Stantonville, TN; two daughters, Patricia Salvack of West Bend, WI, Susan Mundschau and husband Warren of Dousman, WI; two grandchildren, Adam Raschig, Krystal Raschig; a sister, Louise Snyder of Hartford, WI; nephews, Steven and Todd Sniegowski of Hartford, WI and a host of extended family and friends.

Services will be private. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer in charge of arrangements.
