Kenneth G. Northrop, 83, of Florence, went home to our Savior on January 8, 2024, peacefully at his home. He was a loving husband for 61 years to his childhood sweetheart Saranne Noblin Northrop.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life service will take place at noon at the church. John Brock, David Byrd & Chad Hess will officiate the service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Inez Northrop, and brothers, Clyde Northrop and Tommy Northrop.
Mr. Northrop is survived by his wife, Saranne Noblin Northrop; son, Kenneth Gunter Northrop, Jr., Orlando, FL; daughters, Kimberly Brown (David), Florence, Kelly Claunch (Patrick), Florence, daughter-in-law, Rosemary Baucom Northrop, Clearwater, Florida; sister, Susan McMath (Joe); 15 grandchildren, Kenneth Gunter Northrop, III, Brantley Claunch (Whitney), Wesley Brown, Mallory Wolfson (Joel), Bailey Claunch (Kiyana), Andrew Brown (Zoe), Whitney Mobley (Drew), Bryant Claunch (Jacealyn), Madeline Wasnick (Hamilton), Grant Brown (Caitlin) Raleigh Claunch, Jackson Claunch, Delaney Claunch, Peyton Claunch, Britton Claunch; 3 great-grandchildren, Sadler Mobley, Hunter Mobley and Graham Wolfson.
