Kenneth Eugene Davis, 67, retired self-employed stone mason and resident of Hampshire, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Vann officiating. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born November 14, 1956 in Niagara Falls, New York, he was the son of Helen Ruth McClellan Davis Barbaro and the late Floyd Eugene Davis. On June 3, 1983, he married Jacquelyn Lois Tracy Davis. Kenneth loved to travel and fish, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a great friend to all and loved his family dearly. His favorite hobby was getting in trouble with Richard Wilkes, and running from the law in Richards black pickup truck .Kenneth was a member of Columbia First United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by children, Misty (J.W.) Gray of Culleoka, Kenneth (Danielle) Davis II of Mt. Pleasant, Bethany Davis of Columbia, Jefferson (Brooklyn) Davis of Columbia, Christopher Davis of Hampshire, and Colton Davis (Taylor Beasley) of Hampshire; grandchildren, Memphis Gray, Eli Gray, Gracelyn Gray, Kade Gray, Tucker Davis, Eliza Davis, Olivia Davis, Avery Davis, Jonathan Davis, Christopher Davis, and Parker Davis; siblings, Wanda Tracy, Michael (Linda) Davis, Donnie (Pam) Davis, and Pam Davis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Chelsey Davis; granddaughter, Chasta Gray; and brother-in-law, Doug Tracy.
Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Davis II, Jefferson Davis, Christopher Davis, Colton Davis, J.W. Gray, and Douglas Tracy II.
