Kenneth Edward Beavers , age 87 of Killen, AL passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at home. He was a native of Lauderdale County,AL, owner of Ken’s Stamp & Engraving, and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. For more than 67 years, Kenneth and Jewel traveled North Alabama and Southern Tennessee playing and singing gospel music. Together they performed on Television, Radio, and numerous live audiences. He was retired from the Lauderdale County Board of Education and was self employed for numerous years after. Most recentley, he and Jewel played and sang at the Lexington and Rogersville Senior Centers. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Graveside Services will be held at Pettus Cemetery on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Jerry Marlow will be officiating. Burial will follow in Pettus Cemetery.
