November 4th, 2023, Kenneth Darby Clinard, 69, of Athens, passed away in his home with his wife, Joanne, by his side and family close by surrounding him with love.
Kenneth was the fifth of ten children and born on May 26th, 1954, in Athens, to Osbon and Jean Murphy Clinard. He enjoyed hunting, Braves baseball, and Sunday dinners with his family. He was kind, forgiving, and a great husband, father, and “Cap” to his grandkids. There are so many words that you could use to describe Kenneth but the best one is loved.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Hardy Clinard; daughter Carla Morell, her husband Eric; and grandchildren Chandler & Merritt Morell. Siblings Roger Clinard, Venita Towe (Jackie), Ronda Tucker (Rex), Connie Moran, Gail Curtis (Bill), Troy Clinard (Karen); mother-in-law, Geraldine Hardy; sister-in-law, Dianne Moore (Johnny); brother-in-law, C.J. Hardy; and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ralph Clinard, John Clinard, and Randy Clinard; father-in-law Carlos Hardy.
Funeral services for Mr. Clinard will be Wednesday, November 8th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with his nephew Richard Clinard officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8th, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:50 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews Allen Tucker, Jeffery Clinard, Jason Towe, Brian Curtis, Patrick Holt, and Chase Clinard.
