Kenneth Dale Roach, 87 of Sumiton, passed away Wednesday December 14, 2022 at his residence. He was a devoted member of Sumiton Church of God, where he served on the Pastor’s Council; he also served as Sunday School superintendent and as the Senior Adult Choir director. He was a member of the UMWA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June Roach; his parents, Laverne and Laura Sue Roach and his siblings, Marilyn Moss, Beverly Roscho and Sharon Pettigo.
Survivors include his son, Kevin Roach and wife Julie; daughter, Pam Gilliland and husband Danny; grandchildren, Ashlyn Blevins (Justin) and Austin Roach (Rosibel); great grandchildren, Kentson and Laura Chandler Blevins; siblings, Phyllis Carlisle (C.L.), Betty Lambert (Bill), Artie Roach (Katie) and Marla Patton (Keith); several other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday Dec. 17, 22 at 1:00 pm at Sumiton Church of God. Burial will follow at New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday from 12-1 pm at the church.
