Kenneth Allen Robinson Kenneth Allen Robinson, 88 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Robinson was born on July 13th, 1936, in Elkmont, to Max Robinson and Eva Mae Hobbs Robinson.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife Wanda Robinson; daughter Tammie Warner (Doug); son Kevin Robinson (Carla); grandchildren Ashley Marelich (John), Lauren Oyler (Jonathan), Davis Robinson (Fiquet), and Rachel Bramlett (Ben); great-grandchildren Claire Colagross, Natalie Colagross, Julia Marelich, and Camille Oyler; and sister Gwen Dutton.

He was preceded in death by his parents Max and Eva Mae Robinson.

Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be held Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 11:00am, with Jason Braden officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, Aug 16th, from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn cemetery.

Mr. Robinson was one-of-a-kind. He was known by many by his nickname “Hot Rod” which came from his interest in cars. He was a private pilot and loved flying planes. He enjoyed gardening and after he retired from Saginaw GM, he grew vegetables and sold them. He was also active in the Limestone County Republican Party. He was a member of Lockes Crossroads Church of Christ.
