Ken Nelson Hitchcock, 86, passed away January 18, 2024, at Mississippi State Veteran’s Home in Oxford, MS. Born in Pontotoc, MS, he was a 4-year veteran of the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy he was a longtime barber until his retirement.
Survivors include his children, Mark Hitchcock, Matt Hitchcock, and Eve Hitchcock; a brother, Paul Hitchcock; and his two sisters, Jean Hitchcock Daniels and Charlotte Hitchcock Turner.
Those preceding him in death are his parents, Annie Roberts Hitchcock and Chester Hitchcock; and his brothers, Allen Hitchcock, James Hitchcock, and Rex Hitchcock.
Services will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Don Smith officiating. Visitation will begin at 12PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery.
